Thank you for attending Meeting #1, 38 Officials attended. Thank you John W for setting up Purchase Officials and selling to our association.
Pizza was provided, we had some hungry guys tonight! It didn't last long. Also thank you Andy Paul for the delicious dessert! You might need to bake and bring those to the meetings more often.
President Lightfoot opened the meeting. Secretary gave a quick update about meetings and DragonFly. VP Jones sold 50/50 tickets, Shawn P took home the WINNINGS. We had a good meeting that Joey said was going to be quick due to the technical difficulties of not having a projector that wouldn't fire up. After discussion from our Mechanics Interpreter Josh Bricker and Rules Joey, the meeting lasted the full hour! We had good discussions from other officials: DOC, Danny G,, Terry, the Sheriff amongst others. Thanks for all who participated.
We are looking for officer nominations for the offices of President, Treasurer and Rules Interpreter. So far we have Zach G for Treasurer. WE NEED others to step up and help with positions. If interested please let us know.

Thank you all for attending the first meeting. Please make sure you have your State Meeting in this can be viewed on MyOHSAA if needed. The deadline is vastly approaching.
We want to thank Denny Morris for making the trip over and speaking to our association. The topic was great and hopefully most will apply this while officiating. It will make your game so much more enjoyable. Less is Better.
Also, want to thank John Whitson for coming up setting up with Officiating supplies. Always great to have him come up.
Pizza……well that went fast. We may need to order a few more for next years meeting.
Nomination taken from meeting one: VP – D. Kelly, 2nd VP – T. Jones, Sec. -B. Strain, Mech. – J. Bricker. We will have nominations again on the Aug. 22nd and then will vote in September.
Educational Credits – 1st offering will be held at Pleasant for the MS Scrimmage. Contact Joey with any questions you may have. 2nd offering will come from Josh Bricker (Mech.) be on the lookout for an email on how to obtain a meeting credit. 3rd offering will be through Joey Maniaci this also will be rolled out in the early part of September. With our 4 planned meetings you have 7 opportunities from HOFOA to obtain a meeting credit.
50/50 – Winner the one and only Jason Edler, who donated it back to the association. THANK YOU
Membership dues – Dues need to be paid by August 22 without penalty. After that it will be $30. We can only take cash or check currently. As we have moved our checking account to Pillar Credit Union due to logistics. Until we get everything set up will look into offering other ways to pay. Thank you for bearing with us until then.

Thank you all for attending meeting number two for the 2023 season. Please make sure you have completed the SRI meeting. The first online meeting was sent out last week, hopefully everyone has had the time to review it on MyOHSAA.
We want to thank Beau Rugg for taking the time to attend our meeting and present several really good clips and clarifications on what the state expects from officials.
